A woman was arrested Saturday for allegedly trying to stop a controversial herbicide from being used in Lake George. The herbicide is designed to kill the invasive species milfoil. WNYT reports Helena Rice was on a personal watercraft in Sheep Meadow Bay and tried to interfere with the application of ProcellaCOR. She was arrested on numerous Navigation Law violations as well as obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, criminal mischief and reckless operation.
